26 Days To Go: Secret Lore

Bonus Story Lore

Naye's Computer Terminal

If you manage to get your hands on the collector’s edition of Project Preservation, you’ll gain access to some bonus story elements!

One of the physical items in the collector’s edition package is a metallic ID card. The same card that the main character Naye uses in the book. It’s a replica of her everyday work ID.

It has her name, and some details on it, but it also has a hidden secret. It contains a QR code for her personal work terminal! Here you’ll find bonus Project Preservation lore.

Several reasons for this, the main one being, the world of Project Preservation is so large, with so many intertwining characters–many of which don’t even receive prominent roles in the book–that I wanted to find a suitable place to touch on some of their lore.

It would ruin the flow of the book by adding too many non essential story sections. However, there are still some interesting tales to be told. Hence ‘Naye’s Terminal’

The words on Naye’s terminal are her own, written right before the start of her story in the book. Think of it as her digital diary, a prequel of sorts. She shares thoughts on Stuk’aith (the supreme leader of the religious portion of the planet), Mabior (the supreme leader of the tech focused portion of the planet), the religious war itself, its origins and more.

I describe these as the ‘extras’ on a blu-ray. Right now, the collector’s editions with these ID cards are being sent to select people, competition winners and the press, however in the future there is a possibility that a limited amount will be available to purchase.

Until then, the secret lore of Project Preservation remains just that… a secret!
