Final Thoughts

It’s almost time! I feel like I’m about to say goodbye to an old friend. Letting them go out there alone.

Too many swirling emotions to accurately portray how I feel right now. I think one recurring feeling is amazement and astonishment at actually holding the physically finished copies of the book in my hand!

Project Preservation will be out there for everyone to read from the first day of Black History Month UK. October the 1st! Pre-Order the e-book now, here, and grab the paperback and hardback from this same link on October 1st 2024!

(You still have time to apply to be an ARC reader, get an early copy of the book! There are still limited paperback versions available. Sign up here!)

Against the backdrop of a very busy, exhausting life, there has always been the constant of this book. Now, I feel like my comfort blanket, that warmth of always having it in the background to work on, chip away at, re-read and adjust, that will be taken away, and I’ll be left out in the cold and dark again. Those strange days nearly four years ago, when this story, the characters, the universe were not present in my life.

The next 30 days will feature daily posts relating to the book posted here. Lore, character bios. Art, thoughts and more. Essentially a countdown to release day. Day 30, today, is the release of the final trailer!

All I can say is… thank you to those of you who always kept your interest in Project Preservation alive. We may be small in number, but we are big in passion.

I am truly aiming to create a new universe in Science-Fiction with my debut. If I wasn’t so confident in the world of Project Preservation, I wouldn’t put the book out there. I have no “deadline”. No aspiration beyond, hopefully a cool, interesting and epic Sci-Fi story.

Perhaps the first of many in this universe.

Well, this is it. Thank you for being here. One month to go, let’s do this!

Be well!

Dan
