14 Days To Go: The Planet El-Bayna
The Paradise Planet
The Planet El-Bayna
The planet El-Bayna (pronounced Ill-Bay-Nar) is a nearly 8 billion year old glistening paradise planet in the canis major dwarf galaxy.
It has a population of around ten billion. The people of the planet are identical to humans in appearance and organic makeup. The planet is a goldilocks planet. A vast ocean world and a mostly jungle planet. One of its signature features is the vast rising trees across most of the land. They shoot high into the sky and often people live their entire lives in the barks and the trees, so vast is their size.
The planet’s composition comprises nitrogen and oxygen, and its bulbous, unusually large sun bathes it in sweltering heat for many portions of what El-Baynan’s call a year.
Two natural satellites or moon’s orbit El-Bayna and the vast majority of the livable land is around the equator. Hence, all the people of El-Bayna are dark-skinned, best described as “African” in appearance.
It is the only planet in their solar system with intelligent life and is the 2nd planet from the sun.
The ancient religions, hundreds of thousands of years before the current dominant ones, claim there lived a great god, this god lived on a planet he made for himself. He got bored and created people. This god was called Anyabile (Pronounced Anya-bully) the people defeated him for being too oppressive.
And so the legend goes he created a new world for them to live on, away from his one, and named it after himself. The people wanted his new world, but not what he named it, after… himself. So they reversed the name and separated it, El-Bayna.
Of course, science informs us that this planet formed naturally, gradually and over time, in the same manner as any other planet in a solar system.
The civilisation on the planet only a decade ago existed in a period, we would see as similar to medieval. However, they discovered technology from the stars, which shot them forward as a race, to space travel, androids, basic computers and more in a very short space of time.
There are over 10,000 languages on the planet (not including dialects). None of course we, as humans, would recognise, despite El-Baynans being identical to us in appearance.
When you think of the paradise planet, that the crews of every generation ship, in every sci-fi story dream of reaching, it’s El-Bayna.
